BYD, the words "getting even" isnt even close to how I or anyone else that I know would describe it but its the words that had to be used because this is in response to the statement that "God gets even." At the end of the day, its a VERY harsh but real thing.
Maybe this long day is catching up to me and I'm out in left field, but when I think about a non-Christian being cast into the lake of fire and I'm only given two choices. 1. God's getting even by allowing His word to be fulfilled or 2. God's not getting even and its just what happened. I dont know how you cant say that the first choice holds more truths than the second. Like I said before, neither really describe's this the best way possible but I was only given the words "getting even" and had to make a choice one way or the other.
If Trump would have used the word "revenge" then I couldnt have agreed with it, because revenge is taking the action which I do not believe in. I believe God allows the result which is when the term "getting even" is only a result of a action not necessarily causing it. Its without a doubt splitting hairs and I admit I think theres a very fine line, but when you look at each of the definitions its fairly clear what the difference is.
