I must say, I HATE it when people come to a stop while getting ON the highway. Why are you slowing down, especially when 90% of the time, you don't have to!?!?
Virginia drivers are generally bad. People who are from other states always say that their state doesn't have too bad of drivers. In Virginia's case, even people who live here get ticked at the 65 year old grandma on the phone who stops on the highway . It's 65 MPH, so get up to that speed BEFORE you get on the highway, so you can join the flow of traffic. People need to take Defensive Driving, and Drivers ED again. It's quite ridiculous.

I will admit that I myself often am guilty of this but mostly its because I am very careful and want to make sure I have enough time to get up to speed since there is absolutely no Accel lanes on some roads and if I just barreled into the road there is that off chance where if Im not careful I go right into traffic and get mashed by some car already on the highway and going at speed. I have had a pair of pretty unfortunate accidents in my life (neither had to do with that though) but I take a "you can never be too careful" attitude since my two wrecks.

I do see your point. And you are correct, the fact that there are 0 accel lanes, does not help the cause whatsoever, which is why I voted A, but in reference to the stopping.... it does frustrate me quite a bit. That is probably because I'm from Georgia, and they made their roads/ramps/accel lanes the way they should be made in order for effective/safe driving. There is ample room to accelerate while still being careful.
Glad to hear that your accidents have not taken your life. You are definitely blessed.
