I have been busy these last couple of weekends and I really don't watch much TV. Is there any word on the future of the New Orleans Saints? Will they play in San Antonio or LA next year? I know someone who lives on the Gulf Coast and we were talking about how nothing much has changed since the Storms. He told me that the Super Dome has been repaired and that they can have sporting events there. But the City is still a Ghost town. They have had a decent turn out for Mardi Gras but there are still less then a 100,000 people living there and that there are still areas that have not been touched by the cleanup effort with Fema.

Also Albuquerque put in a bid for the Saints and for an Expansion Team with the NFL so we may get some Pro Grid Iron here in the Querq. If anyone knows anything on the Saints give us an update.

Coach--I think the Saints have fully committed to N.O., as they are supposed to have the SuperDome ready for games by the middle-end of Sept.

the superdome will be ready for the saints, and i believe i heard they will get in there by early september now. as far as the hornets, they played their first game at the arena earlier this week in front of a sellout crowd. commissioner stern says the NBA is committed to the crescent city, but i think okla. city will eventually get that franchise. they are proving it by their attendance and the ford center meets luxury suite criteria for that misfit ownership group down there.

Thanks Guys for the updates and the info. That is great that the Saints will stay. It will really help build that area with the Sports Teams staying. I went by the Ford Center in Okla City on I40 west heading home to New Mexico and it was a great facility from the outside. It would be nice to see the NBA in that part of the country. It looks like I will be waiting for some time for the NFL to come to the Querq.
