Bears get a cakewalk back to the Superbowl, disgusting. I guess with the Lions, Vikings and Packers in your division, your SOS doesn't really matter.

On the flip side, it's only a matter of time before Rex Grossman blows a kidney or something and Tank Johnson gets arrested for pulling a gun on whatever poor Girl Scout comes to his door to sell cookies. Lovie might be better off drafting Adrian Peterson and lining him up in the backfield with the other Adrian Peterson and going triple-option all season.

what is so good about getting the 49ers??? You do realize they were much improved last season going 8-8 and they are only going to get better

Frank Gore, if he stays healthy, is going to run the league into submission.. that guy is the real deal.

yeah he is...i am far from a 49ers fan...but this Gore may soon be bigger then Al Gore of global warming fame...
but yes...Frank Gore is a huge talent...in San Fran is on there way up that is for sure

As for my Dolphins, I am not sure it matters at this point who they play....another near .500 season is in the making...I hope I'm wrong though

11-5 for the Panthers.

I remember reading on here that the Panthers were going to win it all this past season

I don't remember who said that, but I am sure they felt stupid afterwards...

I say all of that to say this...be careful SJ...tons of people had them winning the super bowl last year...I rather be cautious with my expectations

8-8 for the Dolphins...and they will be undefeated after week one when they beat the Redskins...there I said it...

I knew they wouldn't win last year. They never do when they're the favorites. Remember, every year they were the favorites they didn't do crap. When they were the somewhat underdog, they made it to the NFC finals and Super Bowl.

Delhomme has someone pushing him this year. He's never had that with Weinke behind him.

Hopefully Foster will break his ankle week 2 so we can see Williams run more.

I didn't feel stupid, just disappointed. You have to remember that the Panthers were in the NFC championship the year before and returned all of their key players in addition to adding Keyshawn Johnson as a second receiving option to back up Steve Smith. There was no reason for Panthers fans to think they wouldn't be highly competitive and return to the Super Bowl last year.

So no, I didn't feel stupid. Not at all. Whatever happened to them last year to make them fall apart was completely unexpected. I could buy that not everyone had them winning it all, but to not even make the playoffs? Come on. If you thought that you should really open a psychic hotline.

to be honest I thought they would either just make the playoffs or just miss them....I am not sure if I was posting on here enough back then to bring up past posts, but I know I talked about it with friends...I just felt they were a fluke team...they will be a little better this year, but not by much...I say 10-6 at best...but I have been wrong many times and will admit it if I am
