Have you seen what ticket sales have done ? The media coverage they are getting? The WINS they are putting up? The change in attitude of the Knicks players?
Other then Steve Nash, what other PG put up these numbers in Dantoni system? It's safe to say none of the other Knicks point guards.
JERRY Well Lin is a run first PG so there may be a theme
He's already being compared to Kobe Bryant because of that one game! No one may be exactly putting him in the hall of fame but they're comparing him to players that are in a completely different league (no pun intended), skill wise.
He hasn't saved the Knicks season. The Knicks were going to rebound no matter what, it's not like they were going to lose to New Jersey or Sacramento without him. Has he maybe helped win some games or provided a mental boost to some of the role players? Sure he has. However, NY was bound to be at least a 7 seed in playoffs without Lin. He may help them be closer to a 4 or 5 seed when that time comes, however, he didn't save their season. Oh, how about Chauncey Billups last year? He averaged close to 20 points per game last year and around 6 assists. That's pretty good. When Felton was in NY, he averaged 17 points per game and almost 10 assists! Felton is terrible now. Chris Duhon even averaged 4 more points per game in both of his seasons with NY than he did anywhere else. Do you even watch basketball?

haha I know...
It seems to be Lin is more legit then Tebow ever was. Not that Tebow didn't have a good run but he didn't put up anywhere near the numbers Lin has put up. I am sure Lin will come back down to earth a bit, but the kid can play.
This I would agree with. I know Tebow's future success as a QB will be short lived, whereas with Lin, I'm just unsure. Lin has actually put up numbers that have helped his team win some games, whereas Tebow was just a guy on a winning team.
