I have always hated Duke with a passion. If Seth ends up there, it will give me one more reason to hate them even more. Appairently a coach with Christian values isn't very important to Seth as Coach K. is far from that.

I grew up a Duke fan. I have been all my life. One of my worst sports memories growing up is the first UNLV game and one of my best memories is the second one. When Laettner hit "The Shot" against Kentucky the next year, I was in a state of rapture for three days. At 15, I was the only person in a 20-mile radius who could correctly spell "Krzyzewski". Over the years, I have remained loyal, suffering through Cherokee Parks and back surgeries and gladly worshipping at the altar of Wojo floor-slapping.

That said, if Seth Curry goes to Duke, I will renounce my entire childhood.

From the outside looking in, I would expect there to be a lot more Duke fans on this board than Carolina.

Duke is a fairly conservative school. UNC is a breeding ground for liberalism.

Is he really going to Duke? I just can't see him being good enough to play there.

After watching Duke play last night and get it handed to them by Villanova, my first thought is that Seth may or may not be good enough to get much PT there, but he certainly does not appear to be what they NEED. What Duke NEEDS is a tough as nails point guard who can get into the lane.

No. No I wouldn't. I told Luke last night if he went to Carolina I would be completely apathetic about Carolina basketball for the next four years. I'm a Liberty fan first. I pull for Carolina when Liberty's not playing. If Carolina loses, I don't care. If Carolina wins, cool. That's my opinion. Liberty is the most important thing when it comes to sports whether collegiate or professional.

You know, the more I think about it I think I want LU athletics to stay close to where we are. I know that it is unpopular to say and against what I have always wanted before, but the more I see the ugly underbelly of the BCS level schools and their typical talent level players the more I don't want any part of it here.

For the most part in all sports at LU we have good people playing for us and good coaches. We have integrity and honor. I'm not sure it stays that wey if we begin to grow further and recruit the higher level players who have been catered to all their lives by AAU coaches, Agents, coaches, and their pals.

I have always been a duke fan and will continue to be one. It was dirty for seth to use us, but its done now. I don't think he's good enough for duke, but maybe he'll prove me wrong. I legitemately want the best for seth and hope he does well.

I wouldn't either, but not because I'm ticked that he's leaving LU. I just wouldn't be thrilled because I don't see him as being good enough to get much playing time at Carolina. He scored like he did because he was playing against Big South caliber players. Against ACC players, I just don't see it happening.

Ive never had a dog in the hunt between duke and unc and could always care less about it and when people talked about it. Having said that, if Curry signs with Duke, there will be one more Tar Heel fan.

I've been a Duke fan since I had open heart surgery there when I was 4 1/2. If Seth goes to Duke I'll feel the same way toward him the way I do about Gerald Henderson. Most people don't realize Gerald Henderson is incredibly cocky and a real jerk. Yet, as a Duke fan I pull for him as part of the team while not liking him as a person or a basketball player. I love Kyle Singler because he's a classy guy and a good basketball player. If Seth goes to Duke I'll pull for him as part of the team but it doesn't mean I'll like him as an individual player. I'm not a Yankees fan but I doubt most of them that think A-Rod is a complete tool are praying he strikes out every time he comes to the plate.
In a dream world, Seth would wind up at Carolina so I could have another reason to despise the Tar Holes.

Talked to a source down at Duke this morning. He said that the Curry's have contacted Duke.

Interesting enough, I also spoke with a source at UNC. He too said that the Curry's have contacted them about transferring.
