guys, let it go. im sure the critic will go to rocco with his ideas in a professional manner and GMTM, he is free to disagree and criticize as he wishes. being critical is ok, but please bring something to the table to make it better, and im sure critic will do that. GMTM, i know you are close to rocco and that you work for LCA as well, but that is the beauty of this board we can disagree, but let's try not to make it personal. i love you guys!!!!

Critic, if you are ripping Rocco which you are then come out and say what you would do differently....I went to LCA for 10 years and I really like what Rocco has done.... Now correct me if I am wrong but you get paid to work the scoreboard for basketball games at LCA (The answer is YES) You volunteer your time on Friday nights during football season. Rocco has made our school a winner in almost every sport, bringing in better coaches and making the schedule more difficult.... So if you got problems with Rocco I would suggest you talk to him. I can give you his extension at LCA his door is always open. If u want things better then doing something about don't sit here and complain about things if you aren't willing to help make them better.

no i am not ripping rocco. don't start putting words into my mouth. all i am saying is that i see some things that i think can be done better. if you want to call me ripping rocco then i suggest you check your definition of ripping a person. I have not said one bad thing about Coach Rocco. last i checked you called football for LCA on the radio. i haven't seen you at a basketball game except one time at LCA.

Wow, is it a full moon or something...amusing reading the throwdown from the sidelines. On the idea of LCA being so close in proximity to the LU entity--I feel that has some merit. I graduated from LU several years prior to that development, but it was rumored at the time. From what I recall, most of the LU students at the time were very wary of this development and many did not have a high opinion of it; among other things, some wondered about the "cross-pollination" of high school students with college students and speculated how long it would be until the first media dirt would hit about a first case of improprieties taken between the students of the two entities.


Since the airing of the goal of 25K, some alumni have speculated that at some point as the school approached the critical mass of 25K on campus, that it was inevitable that TRBC would simply get "folded" into LU as its campus church offering, kind of like the on-campus cathedral that serves the Notre Dame campus. At that point, LU would be the behemoth organization and the church very small in comparison (unless you count attendance the Evangelical way--anyone who is within 1000 yards of the building gets counted twice, once for Sunday School and once for the service)

Again, just reporting what the overriding LU student party line was back in the late 90's.

well, it didn't take long for the 2 schools to have problems, while working for liberty lupd found a guy and girl making out in a car behind campus north...to find out the guy was a liberty student and the girl a 16 year old LCA students, they cops were ready to press charges and all that kind of stuff, when it was found out that the parents knew about it and were cool with it i guess...so it happens, and i am sure it has happened and i am sure it will happen in other circumstances as well

Everyone knows I disagreed with the way that Bob Good was running it and that's why I stepped down. I told him that and I told Jeff Barber that when I stepped down.

I am talking in the part that i work not the Athletic Department and how he runs it. And you have already made my point. And yes i have given him some suggestions in the department i work in but in a professional manner. and you have your problems with the Student flames club and have criticized Bob Good and whoever else started the thing. But there are other suggestions that i have not submitted to him yet in the department that i work in.

I remember having to attend a Dr. Towns Sunday school class on Sunday morning and they took our attendance to see who was there and who wasn't. I love LU and am glad theat I was able to go there. It didn't bother me having to go to classes during the week, but being forced to go to a Sunday school class or my grade would suffer from it was crazy. I've heard that they don't do that anymore. I wonder why that is!!!!!!!!!!!!
