What I don't get is why would the SoCon want ETSU back...first they make a big fuss about VMI moving their program, which in turn drove SoCon longtimer VMI to the Big South, and then they drop football and bolt for the A-Sun. It makes more sense to see the OVC going for ETSU, but don't they want Chattanooga (speaking of which, are there still rumors of UTC talkin with the OVC?)

Maybe we should try and take Samford AND UTC...that'd be one heck of a coup.

Chatty has decided to stay put for the time being. The proposed overtures to Samford since that conclusion are not likely coincidental.

Apparently many of the SoCon power brokers have decided to let bygones be bygones and bring back the Bucs in the best interest of the conference despite some parties still seething.
