157 yards rushing isnt rushing very well? i see. what does carson palmers play have anything to do with how campbell played while was healthy. there is no correlation.

i said "as well" (meaning less than some prior weeks not necessarily bad) they had been doing more damage on the ground. The correlation is that they had a passing game and the passing game opened up the running game this past Thursday. Earlier in the season the run opened up what passing sucess they had. it's really not that difficult.

They rushed for 191 yards as a team against San Diego. That was their second highest rushing total of the season. Maybe they didn't do "as well" as their 234 yards against the Jets in week 3, but it's hard to argue that they didn't do much damage on the ground.

lol. beyond 1 week that was one of the best rushing weeks they've had all year. last weeks game ended and started with the run. not the pass. seriously do you even watch football? carson palmer is good yes and i think he will be head and shoulders above campbell as a passer but you can't discount what jason campbell did on the field for the first 5 weeks of the season. especially considering the raiders qb's have thrown twice as many picks in 3 and a half games as campbell did in 5 and a half games.

back to tebow.

i laughed during nfl live last night as everyone loaded on john fox for saying what he was saying. if i remember correctly from when i lived in va. john fox pretty much talked like this all the time, no?

i think john fox is tired of coaching with mediocre qb's his entire HC career and assumes thats what he'll get in tebow. they'll sign or draft someone early after the season is over. unless tebow takes them to the promise land which i'm heavily rooting for as ESPN would be able to change their name to Comedy Central.

I also think Tebow sucks as a QB, but I'm pulling for him just so every person on TV will stop talking about how bad he is. Yes, I generally agree with their analysis, but it's being overplayed. The Broncos' system is technically working right now. Just shut up about him until he proves you right and the Broncos start losing.

Is Pollo Tropical actually good?? There is one 5 minutes from my house and for 2 years my wife and I have said we should try it out but something else always trumps it.

its not a cheap fast food place. but i've been giving up the fried stuff for quite some time and their grilled chicken and roast pork is fantastic for "fast food" their black beans are really good too. its like 7 bucks for half a grilled chicken and 2 sides.

i got a pier diem of 55 bucks a day when i was there. i ate pollo at least once a day. this allowed me to pocket cash or eat a nice steak for dinner every night.

Were you in Naples? I've heard it's very good, but haven't tried it yet. I'll make sure I give it a try soon.

In Naples you can score Skyline Chili. At lunchtime I envy you.

Pollo Tropical now goes on my list of joints to try.

Oh yeah, I'm still smarting from Tebow's 1st start a year ago. But since I know so many people connected to his family I feel like I have to cheer him on.

We have Skyline in Fort Myers as well. Another on my list of places to try. Everyone I know from Ohio raves about that place.

You simply must have a 3-way with a cheese coney on the side. But be forewarned ... the chili will not be what you expect from a chili. The seasoning can be an acquired taste but it is one you can never leave behind.

i hate to even post because the pro-tebow fans get way too defensive but here it goes.....Tim Tebow is a fine man. I love that he is outspoken about his faith, and i love his leadership abilities. I think he could get a team fired up enough to run through a brick wall. It is my belief that long term he is not the answer as a starting QB. Short term success is great but teams will catch on and eventually stop his style. If he worked on getting the ball down field more then maybe long term it will work. I could care less about his throwing motion because Philip Rivers has an odd style but it has worked pretty well. I just think the pro-tebow fans (fla gator fans, Christians who get defensive thinking the media is picking on him) are always going to defend him no matter what. The Broncos play in one of the worst divisions in the NFL, so making the playoffs is very reasonable, but they will be one and done. If you can honestly tell me that if you were a GM you would want tebow as your starting QB to win the super bowl, i would have to question you. AGAIN, I PERSONALLY LIKE TIM TEBOW, AND HOPE HE SUCCEEDS IN THE NFL. i just do not think he is a long term solution. carry on!

It's sweet with cinnamon, right? I know it's not going to be the chili I grew up with in NC (no beans), but I'm looking forward to trying it.

I wouldn't call it sweet but the cinnamon flavoring is evident. I never have any beans in my Skyline chili ... they are optional.

I actually picked up 3 cans in the grocery store when I was in IN. Plan on firing up some 3 way with hot sauce over Thanksgiving! SLY. You may want to define 'leave behind' if you know what I mean

As for Tebow, it looks like he is thinking about his throwing motion t of much and aiming the ball. Maybe, if they were going to run this offense, they should have left it alone. There are plenty of QBs who have funky motions and are serviceable or good. Plus, being a lefty makes it look odd anyway. I was not a lover or hater but with all this attention on him it reminds me of the line from Hoosiers "The sun don't shine on the same dogs jerk everyday, but Mister, you ain't seen a like of sunshine since you been here.". Which is why I would love for him to succeed

Sounds good. I'll be trying it soon. There's one within a couple miles of the school where I work.

been watching him run the option all nite (which is odd enough in an NFL game) and he gashes the Jets for another 20+ yds inside the last minute to probably win the friggin game.

unreal
