I didn't see that but I did see him screaming with his hand over his mouth so we couldn't read his lips. I can only imagine how horrible it was.

After 1 day....

Big Ten - 2-2
Big East - 2-0
Update:

Big Ten 6-5 with 2 teams in the Sweet 16
Big East - 11-2 with 5 teams in the Sweet 16

So...how's that workin' out for you buddy?

UConn, Pitt and Louisville all played in close proximity to their schools, and Villanova played two games in its home city of Philadelphia. Big East teams in the tournament have beat only two lower-seeded teams in UCLA and Arizona State. They were untested last weekend, and that kills their chances of getting any team to the Final Four.

Mark my words, the Big East comes up empty this week.

well when you're seeded so high, you get the pleasure of playing "mediocre" teams in the first 2 rounds.

etsu and ok st tested pitt, siena tested louisville, american tested nova, az st kinda tested syracuse

This guy really makes me believe I could get a job writing for a newspaper. Are we sure this dude is not one of the White Sox broadcasters? Homer does not even begin to describe this dude.

Nowhere does he reference HOW WRONG he was about the first 2 rounds of the tourney....

I only went because LUCOnn linked it...but you also have to realize that this dude is writing exactly what his readers want to hear. He is in Big Ten territory...I assume (have not looked to be sure) but most of the negative comments are from people like us that are from outside his area that are linked to the site and are not Big Ten Fanboys

Sounds like he was grasping at straws in that piece...course after this weekend he may be grasping for a life preserver for his apparently floundering credibility

You're exactly right. In 2000, I had the great experience of being able to attend the Final Four at the RCA Dome in Indianapolis. I don't think the RCA Dome is quite that big, but the set up was very similar. My seats were on the sideline, but they were too high up and too far off the court to see the action very well. I loved the experience, but the best seats were across the street at the bar....

Edit: Actually, if you look at the first pic, our seats were one section over to the right and about half-way down.

That's a similar setup to what they've been using in Reliant Stadium here. Next year the Sweet 16 is back at Reliant and the Final Four arrived in 2011.

The seats are much better up here in Boston... I think the Duke/Villanova will be the best one of the night..

Does anybody expect Purdue to hang with UConn tonight? I don't...

I am really looking forward to the 'Nova/Duke game.

I feel bad for Purdue.. A ticked off Uconn team is not what they wanted.. Would be surprised to see the game within 15 points...

Purdue looks freaking terrible. I can't believe they're in the sweet 16. Although at the moment Uconn can't hit the side of the barn and they're only up 5.

While I'm talking here, having the 1 seeds play in the 1st of 2 games is not really very "neutral". You've got fans from 3 other teams cheering against them.
