did you watch the UK game
they got manhandled on both sides of the board and not just by the UK bigs...
this tournament has been handed to Duke, so im not surprised to see Duke in the Final Four and wont be surprised when they win
WVU was the only good 2 seed, as is evident by the results so far. So it's not like Duke got that bad of a 2 seed in Nova, since all the 2's were weak, just like the other 1's were weak. And if Duke had been a 2 seed, they would have been the best 2 seed, and been in a group with a team like Syracuse or Kentucky, and would have beat either of them. If they beat WVU, then we can say they'd beat WVU, too, and proves that, even if you gave them a 2 seed, they'd be just fine.
In retrospect, the #1's should have been Kentucky, Duke, WVU, Kansas in that order. 'Cuse had no business on the top line without Onuaku. Kansas wasn't the best team in the country. UK looked good, but they just weren't built to run thru the tourney. Duke is built to run thru the tournament. Experience, talent, and a good coach.
So keep crying about Duke, but they got what a 1 seed deserves, which is the easiest possible road. They got a 16 seed, which is an easy win, they got a 8/9, which should be easy for a 1 seed (other than KU apparently), then they got a 4 with a lot of talent that did well in a good conference, then a really good 3 that every "expert" was very high on before the tournament. Not sure how people considered them the worst 3, I'd say they were the best, particularly in retrospect.
But keep rolling with the same old conspiracy theory. When Duke's cutting down nets, I'll bring you a tin foil hat.
