Good sced, but I think it's more a function of their status in D1 basketball than anything else at this point. They've got to play tons of guaranteed games to make money for the program, and everyone is willing to play them b/c it is as close of a sure win as any team in D1 at this point.

This is pretty status quo for any team moving up into D1. Longwood had a similar schedule when they moved up.

Last year we gave NC State and GA Tech all they wanted, and they sure as heck could've beaten USC if they had played. USC is terrible. To top it off, this year they're going through a coaching change and a potential roster shake-up.

We, on the other hand, return all of our studs from last year except Pat Kiscaden and Ryan Lamb. When you combine our veterans' experience and the recruiting class for this coming season with Coach Nibert's expertise, the stage is set for us to have a shot at winning AND getting paid. I'm sure as heck going to be there.

Liberty Flames should actually have a pretty good team in 08...give your guys more credit than only hanging on for 10 minutes. PC and Liberty are actually quite similar as both head coaches have two syllable last names. That's the only thing I can find in common but at least it's something.

Seriously now, try to attend a few away games to broaden your outlook on other fine instutions (for sure go to VMI).
