I lied....THIS will be my last post. Realist, not only am I much more 'educated' than you are (as in i have more degrees from various institutions of higher learning than you do), I am also much smarter, more successful, etc. etc. The only thing I am not -- is funnier, and that is because you continue to make a fool of yourself in this thread. I don't mean this in a self-promoting way, because frankly, i could be a H.S. dropout for all anyone knows. It doesn't matter to me, or anyone else...Success is indeed meaningless and chasing after the wind...

However, as someone who has a sibling that is, as you so delicately put it "special" -- i found your comments not only offense to me personally, but completely classless and clearly IGNORANT. In fact, the most ignorant person I have ever encountered on this type of forum. I hope you realize how 'special' you are that you are several hundred miles away from me right now because if you were sitting in front of me saying these things you would never have the opportunity to speak again. I have no reason to run and cry and i have tried to have a good sense of humor in my posts as we have exchanged taunts and insults. And that is fine... I have made fun of your intelligence and you mine, and apparently this is because we both believe the other refuses to read each others posts. However, your cavalier attitude has slowly worn on me and regardless of how "PC" i may seem to you the truth is that you crossed a line.

I enjoy a spirited debate but there is no need for things to become this personal and I will not engage you in petty banter that is clearly below the belt. I am close friends with many people in the Winthrop athletic department and I can assure you they would all disown and disavow many of the comments you have made in this thread (that is those of the personal and "non PC" nature). To be sure, I have a different vision of what a fan messageboard should be in regards to opposing fans than the majority of the people on this site. And that's cool, I understand other viewpoints. To me, a Liberty message board should be a place for Liberty fans to discuss things. Opposing fans are definitely invited, provided they interact in a respectful, non-trolling manner. I actually tend to agree with one of the other boards, that opposing fans are on a shorter leash. B/c you are a guest at our house, basically. So, when "people" like Realist act out in the way he so often does, I would assume show them the door, to allow for more constructive conversation.

While I agree with this principle, I will say that there are times that UNCA, it's program/players or what not have been grossly mis-stated on this board & others I frequent.. As a VISITOR on this board, per se, I would also think that it would be pertinent to have someone more familiar with UNCA or whatever program contributing specific truths about what they know to enlighten this board.. Now Realist is truly an extremist.. but I have had my share of heated exchanges with members of this board in years past... Granted I was right! ...

I think if the LU board is going to have WU or UNCA or other schools as topics of conversation- I think by that nature you are inviting WU & UNCA folks to chime in- regardless of how blindly biased they are in belief of their teams/programs..

Unlike Realist, I don't tend to criticize this board or Liberty's program unless other banter arises vs UNCA- I don't like the layout/format of this new board quite as much as the board before this summer's changes- but I'm a VISITOR and never commented on it previously because I believe I have no real say on that matter.. I am a guest in that regard!
