If you want to talk ASUN smack or ramble ad nauseum about your favorite pro or major college teams, this is the place to let it rip.

A candy-****ed liberal who probably was singing "Hark The Sound" to himself watching those poor people jump out of the Trade Towers on 9/11. Pathetic. Not a subject to joke about whatsoever, too many of our fine men and women in uniform have been killed by the Taliban.

Wow. You must be thinking of Al Qaeda, since they were responsible for 9/11.

I get where you are coming from but it was a joke and nothing more. If it were a republican making the same joke would you be so upset? Probably not.

Gotta be honest guys, it wasnt something I found hilarious either.

Sorta the way we call anyone we don't like "Nazi"(s).

Over time, it decreases the importance of what these monsters did.

I can guarantee you that right until he died, my grandfather never made jokes @ Nazi's or compared them to some guy down the street that annoyed him.

Fast forward to today... I don't belittle the impact of terror groups. Too close to home.

Some of you will disagree until you have another decade or 2 under your belt and thats ok too.

This morning a liberal called me a Grammar Nazi when I pointed out he spelled General Cornwallis incorrectly. That wasn't very nice.

All kidding aside, I agree with Medic. As far as my opinion is, debate the issues. I may make fun of politicians but c'mon, no Democrat literally rejoiced when 9/11 happened.

Sorry for turning it political but that's the best analogy I can come up with.

You mean I'll be in my 60's?

Pretty sure the Nazi's didn't organize primarily due to American global interventionalism. I'm also pretty sure they weren't both supported by and armed by the US at any point. I'd bet that they couldn't point to the number of civilian deaths that they caused being dwarfed by the direct and indirect acts of the US.

Tell all the Taliban and Al Qaeda jokes you want, they're at least partially our fault anyways.
