If you want to talk ASUN smack or ramble ad nauseum about your favorite pro or major college teams, this is the place to let it rip.

The ACC is the more "prestigious" conference than the Big East hence BC wanting to be/stay there. Trust me being a person who has grown up in BC country and being thisclose to attending there myself everyone likes the fact that we play in the ACC as opposed to the Big East. I know that "economically" it makes more sense to be in the Big East, but if the school can afford it I don't mind seeing BC play UNC and Duke twice instead of watching us play Depaul twice a year just because it's "more feasible"

Boston and the surrounding area didn't give a rat's behind about BC when they were in the Big East and they certainly don't now that they're playing teams 12 hours away. It's a pro town. BC will never be relevant to anyone but it's students and alumni. I would also like to laugh at the "more prestigious" comment. As if prestige can be measured in any way. I think anybody who's not an ACC fan comes accross as anti-ACC to you guys because your noses are stuck so far in the air.

Good job of comparing UNC and Duke to Depaul. Can you say 'strawman'?

Yes, instead of DePaul, the ACC just has GA Tech and UVa for basketball...

Haha that's suprsing to hear no one cares about BC when I live 20 mins away and I have scene that peolpe actually do care. Once BC started to play Duke and UNC twice, sometimes three, times a year it peaked an interest in a lot of fans over here. I actually see a lot of BC stuff around now and it's all come about SINCE BC moved conferences. I say prestige in quotes to refer to why BC wants to stay. That is heard from kids who attend there so that's why I use that word.

Also, to ALUmnus it the Truth lol BC fans do not want to see us play Depaul, Rutgers, Seton hall, St. John, USF during the year. The the bottom end teams in the ACC, no matter what year, appeal more to the common fan around here. Now i'm not saying the Big East is trash because they have some pretty great teams, but that BC is Very content with where it's at.
