Just to stir things up a bit............
We had a small discussion earlier about a head coach v. ast coach (I think it was in the Coach Martin thread) I think we have a very good example that we can all relate to. Leaving the personalities out this, if it is possible, and looking at it on the merits here is the question/poll

Would you rather be the Head coach at LU or the assistant coach at IU??

It depends on where you get your satisfaction. One pays better than the other and one is involves having the ultimate authority on decisions. Both positions are rather sweet in all honesty.

Assuming I liked Bloomington, assistant at IU. Better facilities, more money to work with, chance of actually winning a national title, etc. I'd rather be an assistant at a top major university than a head at a low or mid major. That's just me though.
