For the third consecutive season, the Liberty women’s basketball team has earned a spot on the Women's Basketball Coaches Association (WBCA) NCAA Division I Academic Top 25 Team Honor Roll. On the strength of a 3.354 team grade-point average, the Lady Flames rank No. 14 nationally.

On a related note, former Lady Flame Dr. Britton Bennett just completed medical school at the University of Arkansas, so she's an M.D. now.
