After two and a half years of working 12 hour overnight shifts, tonight I am working my last overnight. As of this coming Monday, I will be a regular M-F, 8-5 working schmuck once again.

I am incredibly thankful for this change as my body is about at the breaking point. I'm not a night owl so this has been a big challenge for me. With God's help, I have worked through it, but now He's given me a much needed change.

So, I just wanted to offer up a praise to God and share. I am much too excited to return to a normal human sleep schedule. Hopefully my body is willing to go along with that.

Hopefully, you'll be able to make the adjustment back to normality. My mother in-law can't go to bed before 2-3am which apparently stems from having worked the 3rd shift as an RN for many years. And that was like 15 years ago.

I used to pull 10-hour shifts overnights and it took ,e like two days to get back to normal.

That's fantastic news, Scorcho. That big bright thing up in the sky you'll start seeing now is called the sun.
