Liberty beat UVA 12-3 yesterday in Charlottesville. Of our 11 hits, 8 were for extra bases. Autumn Bishop had a 3 run homer. Canetto had 3 hits. Griffin 2 hits and 3 RBI. Bishop-Riley had 2 hits and 3 RBI.
Three pitchers combined to hold UVA to 5 hits. Kirby started but had control problems. Johnson relieved and gave up 3 hits. Wagner got the win with 2+ innings of scoreless relief.

Always nice to beat UVA in any sport! It is a game we were expected to win-UVA is 11-19 overall and 7-14 in the ACC.
