If you run into an issue when submitting a post and/or uploading an image where you get a "502 bad gateway" error, simply refresh the page in our post will be submitted and/or image will be uploaded.

I am working with our webhost now to resolve these issues. They performed some maintenance earlier in the week and this looks to be an issue from that maintenance.
