On a screen in the back of the auditorium, a video continuously ran to show the impressive baseball field and facilities at Liberty University.
As students, family and friends settled into their seats on Wednesday morning, Mason Hand of Northside Methodist Academy signed on the dotted line to continue his baseball career at the college located in Lynchburg, Va.
“It blew me away,” Hand said of the facilities. “I had never seen anything like that. It set apart over everything I had been to. The turf field, the workout facilities – everything like that. It was amazing.”
