Any word on when this starts. I know some FCS schools have already begun their spring practices, mostly because of the break in weather in the north.

Please tell me how can Old Dominion University start football in 2009 and after only four years playing FCS football achieve a 38-10 record. In 2013, they then moved up to the FBS and joined Conference USA. We started football 43 years ago, we're still playing FCS and have gone to the playoffs only one time and we play in the Big South Conference with powerhouses like Gardner Webb, Charleston Southern, etc. We have more funds, better facilities than any other conference schools, plus a national platform. Money and great facilities don't bring playoff invitations, wins do. Something needs to change.

The format of the spring "game" does not allow for a video/tv/radio/audio broadcast. We have done a radio broadcast in the past, but the last few years the way the "game" is played has changed.

Alright, sounds good. I was just hoping us 'out-of-towners' might get a glimpse into it.

I have a feeling that they will have a Periscope feed at minimum. And I agree completely that the format makes it very difficult to follow from a broadcasting perspective. It is less of a game and more of a situational scrimmage. That's tough for observers to understand.

Thanks for the nuggets. It sounds like they are wanting to challenge Nick and that McKinney might be one to watch.

I certainly had QB as my top position to watch as well...Im curious who steps up among the WR as well. With Petey gone, somebody will have to move into that #1 role and be the guy that DB coaches and DC first have to think about when game planning for our passing game.

Is there a depth chart at RB? That's a position I am curious to look at... I'm curious to see how Hickson performs in there.

The spring will answer quite a few questions on the roster. But i suspect that RB will continue to be up for grabs until the week before Tech.

don't see how BJ is not the #1 WR going into spring and coming out followed up by Shells and Parker or Parker and Shells

RB - Macon I would def think has the edge as he always has had a nose for the endzone, just always ended up having to play behind a cpl of good ones in DJ and Dez. Hickson and Daniels will def push but I think in the end it will be Macon Daniels and Hickson as change of pace

LFN posted a copy of the depth chart and BJ was listed at the #1 at the "#1 receiver" position. Todd is the #1 at RB as well...Im curious to see if Carrington finally lives up to expectations this year and maybe surprises some people.

he should of been surprised people by now, hew was 5th on the chart behind Kaigler, so maybe he just doesn't want it or is the talent in front of him just that much better. Big difference in college where people are your size or better vs when you are just the Shaquille O'Neal of football in HS

I agree that he should have by now coach. Considering how gaudy his HS numbers were, he has been a royal disappointment getting mired that deep in the RB stable

Wait, are you talking about Mosley? He was a walk on. He was never expected to do anything. He had great numbers at LCA against sometimes questionable competition. You've been beating his drum for years, and I never understood it. There's a reason he didn't get any other DI looks.

I'll own up to the fact that he whiffed scribe. I was expecting the LCA Mosley to be the same one who came into LU as said walkon

All I'm saying is that there was never any internal expectation among the coaching staff that he would ever be a significant contributor. He was an afterthought from the start.

The teams Mosely played for at LCA had dominant O-lines with múltiple future D-1 players. All he had to do was put his head down and run straight ahead to pick up big yardage
