Was it ever Liberty College?
No. It was founded as Lynchburg Baptist College, briefly (I think maybe 2 years) changed to Liberty Baptist College and then to Liberty University.

That's a bummer. He's a first-class young man. Nearly had another interception last night, would have been a nice one on a fine diving effort.

The NFL is a numbers game in the preseason. You have to split up 53 main roster spots among essentially 10 positions, so sometimes, when it comes down to an established veteran or a player that isn't as established at a position, often times they take the veteran. Add to that the salary cap as well. Here's hoping he gets a shot on the practice squad or gets a chance with another team before the season is out.

My guess is that, while its usually talked about with the big contracts with a lot of guaranteed money and cap numbers, when you are finalizing spots 50-53 on your roster, you have to think about which guy at which position you can afford to keep. If it came down to KF and another player at another position, the GM would probably have to look at the numbers and if it would be more cost effective to keep the other guy, as far as the cap is concerned, then they keep that guy and KF goes. That's just my thinking on the potential relevance though.
