I think they did a pretty good job sizing this all up. Although Cincinnati-style chili would have been a better choice than Buckeyes for Ohio. What do you think?

I knew what my home state of West Virginia's was going to be before I even opened the thread. Had many a pepperoni roll growing up. They're great with cheese in them.

Shrimp and grits is great, too!

Are those pepperoni rolls like the ones Kroger sells? Hard to tell with the pic being as small as it is. If so they are awesome.

It keeps getting designations as the best pizza in USA from some NY-based websites. I am anxious to try it out but my Connecticut clients haven't booked me in awhile.

Hillbilly Hot Dogs seems to be in the news quite a bit fighting with the government and neighbors. Didn't the Governor try to get them to change their name a few years ago?

I go to Alaska frequently for work. But I have never seen or heard of salmon candy. Perhaps I will have to look harder next time.

And for the record, Huckleberry pie in Montana is awesome. In fact, everything huckleberry is phenomenal.

Boarwalk fries. I'll admit, I've never been to a beach in Delaware but I've been to a boardwalk in maryland and there's several places to get vinegar fries.

Boardwalk Fries and Trasher's but no locals ever use vinegar, you use Old Bay and nothing else.

Edit: And there's no reason to go to a beach in DE, you may as well just take the ferry to Cape May or drive a little farther south and go to OCMD.

Oh so that's how they make them like that. WOW that's sad as long as I've eaten Thrashers fries I didn't know how they actually made them.

I'd have to agree with Sly about the Cinci chili in Ohio -- FAR more ubiquitous than buckeye candy, IMO. Could probably have also gone with the pork tenderloin sandwich or the odd (to me, anyway) combination of chips and pizza.

This is false. You use both Old Bay and malt vinegar. You must have missed that class.
