My brother just graduated High School and plans on starting Liberty in the fall. He is looking for any work during the summer. Does anyone have suggestions or know of anyone that is hiring within the Lynchburg area? He is driving up this Saturday and can start ASAP. He can do anything (manual labor, office job, grocery store, etc.). He is going to head out on Monday trying to find something, but I'm just trying to see if anything is out there.

Melvin T Morgan (metal roofing) has a sign out that they're hiring. I don't know if they're looking for summer help, but it would probably be a good job. It's located west of Lynchburg on 460 at the 7-11 intersection.

Also, landscaping and pool construction co's are always looking for people in the summer.

Liberty Facilities always hire students for the summer to help clean and wax dorm rooms.

Lot of places hiring right now, probably the best time to be looking for a job with the gap between college students leaving town and high school students still in school. I saw a sign at the Kroger on Timberlake for help wanted. I worked at a Kroger one summer, not terrible.
