January 23, 2014| Lynchburg, Va.|

The Liberty swimming & diving team is ranked No. 15 in the latest CollegeSwimming.com Mid-Major Division I Rankings, as announced today. The Lady Flames appear in the Mid-Major poll for the second time this season, as Liberty was ranked No. 13 in the first ranking, Nov. 21.

Now in its 12th year, the Mid-Major Rankings serve to provide an objective point system to compare teams that do not benefit from large scale football or basketball conferences or those teams that provide fewer than one-half of the allowable scholarships under the NCAA rules.

Conferences under consideration for the Mid-Major Rankings are: America East, Atlantic 10, Big East, CCSA, Colonial, Conference USA, Horizon League, Ivy League, MAAC, Mid-American, Missouri Valley, MPSF, Northeast, Patriot League, and WAC

Agreed...Ive had a few discussions with him (as a former swimmer its nice to be able to talk with someone and they actually know the same terms you do) and he definitely is the man for the job. Would love to see the team rewarded with that new facility in the very near future
