Devon Brown fights through a foul, watches her shot fall through the basket and lets out a scream.
Almost immediately, Brittany Campbell meets her with a chest bump that is felt throughout The HTC Center, the signal that Brown is beginning the process of taking over in the Big South Conference tournament semifinal against Campbell.
Devon definitely was a special player and will be missed...I think she could have made a run at Kisseleva's record if not for some of the injuries she dealt with
Devon is a quality individual as well as a great athlete. I wish her the absolute best in her next steps in life after graduation. She will be sorely missed... she scored 1/2 of our entire team points total against Purdue yesturday. A great way for her to go out in style on both a personal high note of 21 pts and as a new member of the 2000+ career pts stratosphere.
