Stony Brook's run game is going to kill our defense unless they figure out something by then. Let's just hope the SB game matters for something...

I've come to appreciate these games more over time. Win or lose, I'm just glad we are playing quality teams and playing them decently well.

Last 3 drives involved a running into the kicker call, fumble for a TD and a missed opportunity on 4th and goal from the 2. Not going to win any close games ending the game like that, but the guys will learn from it and get better.

Exactly...And I know we have a new coaching staff, key players, blah blah blah. But I'm sick of "moral victories." This was not a moral victory. This was a loss from every angle. The only thing ANYONE cares about is the "L" on our schedule and that's all anyone is going to see. I'm not saying everyone is trying to make this into a moral victory but there are those people out there...Im ready for Liberty to go FBS so we can stop being screwed by bad calls from officials. Watching Liberty football makes me appreciate official reviews...

Let me add to the fireworks. Went to Wake Forest and watched a pick eventually cost us the game. Watched this game and saw a fumble cost us the game. I like Hudson's effort but dang, take care of the football! 2-0 becomes 0-2 with two plays.

I wish I could say what I wanted, but as someone who chose to identify myself publically, I can't.

Let's just say I'm embarrassed, and am quite frankly uninspired for the next two weeks.

Losing Malcolm Boyd is huge. He should be eligible for a medical redshirt and come back next year. But he is a huge hole in our offensive line.

I agree that Woodrum looked poised in their under the circumstances.

If this was Gills 3rd or 4th year I'd be frustrated. Or if we had loads of talent coming back from a Play-Off birth I'd be more disappointed

Agree. They lost to Rice. Let me say that again... Rice. Liberty could beat Rice. They've got much more pressing issues.

Great game flames, that was a classic.

(bowing out now, because I understand the feeling). You guys are tough, the nsu defense was strong the second half... See you guys in the playoffs. WIN THE BIG SOUTH!!

I know my neighbors heard me I was yelling so loud. I blame Kevin Fogg. Love watching that guy return kicks! Makes me wonder if he should play on offense...

I feel like play calling is a bit conservative with inexperience at the QB position. But, I really think that will improve as the season goes on and they gain experience. I definitely think not having Bah and Nick hurt on defense. Seemed like we really had a hard time finding the ball when they ran their spread. I give credit to Norfolk St as far as halftime adjustments go. They kept things simple and really just played to their strength which is the speed they have at QB and RB.

Just don't predict them to lose on the Athletics Predictions whiteboard if they still do that. Very unpopular move.
