Thanks for the info. May have to look into that. Apparently all my neighbors can get dish but I can't do to the trees in my yard.

yeah... I'm new to this but it seems that you get whatever is on ESPN3

My confusion was due to getting games I KNOW were carried on ESPNU, 2 or the mothership but I guess they were also streamed via ESPN3 as well - hence; avail on my x-box

possibly.

it may also be the Grey Goose

Is it still dependent on your internet provider? If you internet provider does not have an ESPN3 contract, can you use XBox live to view ESPN3?

I believe it is regardless of provider. Incidentally the new ESPN-Comcast deal this past week is supposed to have Watch ESPN access to Xfinity subscribers.

I cant watch ESPN 3 on my iPad at home but I can watch it on my XBox. That might be because I have 360 Gold or something. I have Shentel as my high speed provider

The Watch ESPN app has to do with internet providers. Only Verizon, Turner and Brighthouse customers are able to use it. I have heard Comcast should be update to use it soon.

isp's have to subscribe to espn3 for you to get it on your home network.
if your isp does not subscribe you can still get espn3 through xbox with live gold subscription.

watch espn app is only available through a small handful of isps and will give you access to ALL of espn. not just espn3.

That handful of providers includes massive Time Warner and as mentioned earlier in the thread, Comcast has reached an agreement. I'm not sure when it starts.
