Try to limit your frustration to the game itself. we'll talk about the season in a separate thread.

All I have to say is, how was that a fumble? MB was clearly down. I hate to blame a game on one missed call or bad play but that was a huge blow to us. Hopefully the committee saw that and will give us some sort of grace.

All you MB haters will enjoy the fact that he's gone.

In fact, you should be happy we lost. One of our members on here is.

I'm mean , what really is there to say? Nothing good came out of this game. If we do not have a new DC next year, it should be the last Straw.

For the record, MB had an incredible game. I thought the whole team played with a ton of heart and gave it their best shot. The offense definitely showed up today and the defense had their moments. It's tough to think that we're only a few missed tackles and calls from making playoffs.

Kinda disappointed to see the defensive output. We've played in coast mode for two weeks before the bye. We went vanilla to prepare for Stony Brook. This is what we have to show for it.

At least Liberty succeeded in creating an environment for Asa Chapman to get better.

Out coached, out executed, out everythinged.

Dude, get your panties put of a wad. If you can't except the fact our Senior QB has made bad decisions at critical points in ALL 4 losses this year, then I feel sorry for you.

Very nice.

Not a bad season, but another one with the same problems of the last couple of years. I picked SB to win the conference in the preseason due to having both us and CCU on the island this year, so this wasn't too surprising.

The OL really needs to get better. They didn't seem to progress during the season.

I would like to see the offense go with a somewhat more traditional running attack next year with a new QB taking over and Allen really developing well at RB.

Defense is a dumpster fire as a unit but has some talent at spots.

The defensive side of the coaching staff needs to be revamped and the offense needs someone who protects the ball well. Put those things together and the next step gets taken.

I'm not upset at your flamerbob. We disagree and that's fine. It's somebody else on here.

3 turnovers, 2 in the red zone. That's not incredible when the opponent doesn't turn it over at all and the final score is a 10 point difference. The separation between the teams today was finishing offensive drives and they weren't the ones with the QB giving away points.

That fumble didn't cost us the game. INT inside of 10, Fumble inside of 30 and missed FG did.

We got out manned up front. They applied pressure all game. Our D line could not get any pressure. Our tackling was terrible. At least they got away from blitzing our CB and LB's on every play like they did in the first half. This was an extemely poor effort after having 2 weeks to prepare for them.

This was obvious sarcasm to an above statement.

We lost too many points to stupid mistakes. We lost good field position to penalties. We had Stony Brook stopped until Asa Chapman went enforcer and gave them the first down and the shot at the end zone. They are an excellent team -- they're the kind of team that we should want to play, and get up for. Instead, we get up for Coastal.

I hope Stony Brook gets past the first round. I hope they do well in the playoffs. Maybe we'll finally have a team that's hungry enough to get us there next season -- although I seem to remember thinking that about this time last year.

As a Cubs fan, I look toward football season to escape monumental disappointments each year.

It is painfully apparent that I need to rethink my strategy.

Im seeing this for the first time since I got back from work and NotaJerry has a point. Completely different game if not for the two fumbles in the 4th quarter (I havent seen the video so I wont offer my thoughts on if he was down or not until Ive had a chance to see it). I looked at the box score and one thing I noticed is that you can tell how well an offense is moving the ball by how many punts they have. Liberty had one punt the entire game, and Stony Brook had three. Mike outside of that played the game of his life. Would have liked to see him go out on top though...

im convinced this is the game that finally convinces our Coaches maybe we need to do a better job executing.

When I told my wife we lost she said "isn't it kind of bad that they spend all that money for nothing"
