Well, the Lady Flames are back in action today hosting Charleston Southern.

According to the Charleston Southern website the Bucs have beaten our ladies the last several times....
"The Bucs have won each of their last two meetings with Liberty, including a 4-2 win over the Lady Flames in the 2009 Big South semifinal."

Just got home from the match, they won 4-3.

We got behind early in doubles, but Hannah Fick and Jordan Jenkins fought back to win their match 9-7 and Lera and Carol won their match 8-6 and were also down a break at one point.

We pulled Jordan out of singles, but Hannah fought hard at #1 before falling 10-8 in a third set tie-breaker, and Cameron won at #2. I don't remember the score, but she got down 5-2 in the first set and came back to win 7-5. Ally lost at 3 in another third set breaker, Carol lost at #4, Neesha won in straight sets at #5 and Beckah won at #6 in straight sets as well.

Anytime we beat Charleston Southern, I'm happy :D

Well, it looks like our ladies had a Significant Win Saturday in beating Charleston Southern's Lady Bucs read on...

"Charleston Southern fell by a 4-3 score at Liberty in a Big South women’s tennis match Saturday, March 19 at the Hershey Tennis Courts in Lynchburg, Va. The decision was CSU’s first regular season conference setback since the 2009 season."

"The Bucs won the 2010 Big South Regular Season Championship by sweeping all seven conference matches. Until Saturday, CSU had not lost a regular season BSC match since April 7, 2009, a 4-3 loss to Winthrop." :dance
