LU had to wait six hours to play the Muhawks (yes that is their name) and despite a record setting night by freshman Nina Dunay, Monmouth held on for a 15-11 win in Williams Stadium. Dunay finished with six goals, breaking the single game record set last season. The freshman has 11 goals in just two games. to put that in perspective, the leading goal scorer last year, Kristin Crowley, had 27 goals...in 14 games. Next up is a pair of spring break matchups in NE as the Lady Flames face Siena on Sunday the 12th and then return the matchup with Centro Connecticut State on the 15th before welcoming Fresno State the Tuesday night after spring break.
