Bullock's Goal Lifts Flames Past Chanticleers

Timothy Bullock scored the game's lone goal in a 1-0 Liberty victory, Saturday.

The Liberty Flames used a strong defensive effort to make a first half goal by Timothy Bullock be the difference, blanking the Coastal Carolina Chanticleers, 1-0, in Big South men's soccer action, Saturday at Osborne Stadium.

With its third straight win, Liberty moves to 2-1 in the Big South standings and 6-2-1 overall. Coastal Carolina falls to 0-1 in conference play and 4-4-1 overall. The victory was the second consecutive shutout by the Flames after shutting out Big South Conference opponent Winthrop, 3-0, in their previous match. Liberty has recorded four shutouts on the season.
