TOKYO -- The United States and Japanese baseball champions could meet in a Global World Series, Japanese daily Nikkan Sports reported Thursday.

The best thing that could happen to baseball would be a resignation from Bud Selig.

I think this would be pretty great for baseball. I don't think it would last for more than a few years though. Especially if the MLB team wins ever year, or vice versa. It would bring in more attention to the sport, and help out with interest.
