The Liberty golf team captured its second title in a many seasons, fending off several would-be charges from three programs. The Flames finished the Davidson College Invitational two strokes clear of the rest of the 12-team field, during Tuesday’s final 18 holes of action held at the River Run Country Club, a par-72, 7,208-yard trek.
