INDIANAPOLIS - USA Track & Field on Wednesday acquired results for the 2006 NACAC U23 Track & Field Championships in Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic, that were not previously made available. The following is a summary of those events.

The NACAC Athletic Association's U23 Championships are held every two years in one of the 32 member nations of the North America, Central America and Caribbean Athletic Association, one of six regional athletics associations affiliated with the International Association of Athletics Federations (IAAF).

2006 Big West Conference Field Athlete of the Year Chris Richardson (Pensacola, Fla.), who will be a senior at Long Beach State, won the men's decathlon with 7,243 points. Richardson won five of the ten events contested en route to his victory. Liberty University junior Brandon Hoskins (Garden City, Texas) took second with 7,086 points.
