I loved the game Missle Command (which was revived in the TV show CHUCK) and I have always wondered why it is taking so long to get a "real life" working shield.
I did run across this BO quote which I thought was nieve. Now more then ever we need one of these. Iran, N Korea etc are/will be more then willing to lob one or two over when the feel like it. Unlike the USSR, these smaller strikes are more of a threat for several reasons. After all, imagine what survivors will think? At least with the USSR we knew it would all be over!! But here is the quote and let's just thank FDR and Truman for not feeling the same way about the A Bomb
