I don't know. Kotchman's good but not great, and from what everyone says, the prospect the Braves received is pretty mediocre-iffic. At this point, I don't see why the Braves didn't hold on to Tex and attempt to re-sign him. At worst, they would have lost him but gotten two first round draft selections as compensation, which isn't much worse than what they just hauled in.

The Braves have been taking on water for a while now and with Chipper and Hudson on the DL and Hudson possibly needing Tommy John surgery, I saw break out the life boats boys.

Tex performed quite well while with the braves. I'll miss him being on the team. as for the braves, its over this year. too many injuries and can't catch a break when it comes to our team being healthy.

Yeah...that 77-83 record was something for all the prospects he cost the Braves
(FWIW, I thought it was a great trade at the time, too)

Just a quick plea to Bobby Cox and his band of AA ball players. Please do not do anything stupid this week to ruin the Cubs' chances this fall. Thank you.

I KNEW IT!!!! Soriano was 2-4 in the 9th and got a 97 mph fastball behind his head on the first pitch from a guy he hammered in the 7th. I guess we can't blame this one on Cox because he was ejected in the 3rd.

Oh. I was talking about the original topic of the thread...Braves pitchers throwing at Soriano. (Unintentionally last series, intentionally this afternoon)

Our cubbies.

Incidently, I'll be at Wrigley next Thursday vs. the Reds. (Please no Volquez, please no Volquez...)
