If you want to talk ASUN smack or ramble ad nauseum about your favorite pro or major college teams, this is the place to let it rip.

Win your division.

Don't win your division?

You've got no room to whine.

Until divisional championships disappear, this is the system.

This 100%. I don't understand why people are complaining about this. Who cares if it doesn't determine the best team? It gets non-typical baseball viewers to watch the game. The wildcard game is about entertaining fans who don't ordinarily watch baseball. If you can't win your division, you're going to play in the entertainment game and if you lose, you're done. Deal with it.

This year is an exception with the three best teams in baseball in the same division. They certainly didn't see that coming when they came up with it. It rewards a team with one really hot pitcher instead of the one with a better top to bottom staff. If it were your team you'd both be whining, probably much louder than I did. You know-it-alls really irk me sometimes.
I agree, win your division and you don't have to worry about it. The Bucs lost more than they should have to the Reds and the Brewers. That still doesn't make going home after one game any easier. I wish they were still in the East, they would have run away with it.

If you want more than 8 people interested in baseball after Labor Day this is the best solution. Unless they shorten the season which wont happen

For the record, I have jumped on the Astros bandwagon that was practically empty a year ago except for SumItUp and his family. This is the first time anyone in Houston has even referenced the 'Stros in normal conversation in about a decade.

That's what happens when your pro and college teams are terrible I guess. Congrats?

Baseball is such an afterthought today in most parts of America. And the grand experiment that including multiple 10+ loss seasons did nothing to help the case here in Houston. But these kids are fun to watch now that we just noticed they were still in town.

Its people like you who made the band wagon too heavy so that the Cubs batters can't hit the ball as far and the Cubs pitchers can't throw as fast! It's too heavy!

TY. It's 6-1 Cubs right now. They are executing very well today. And St Louis has given them some breaks. SJ would hate it though because the Cubs ran back to back safety/suicide squeezes and another bunt

As the son of a native Chicagoan, it makes me glad to see the cubs win last night. I would love to see this kick off a run to the pennant. With former Norfolk Tide Jake Arrieta leading the way

Great. More band wagon fans. Just makes the job tougher

As a braves fan I would rather see a Houston vs. Chicago world series. I loathe the Cardinals ever since the infamous "infield Fly" and I can't stand the mets. So... go cubs. lol
