If you want to talk ASUN smack or ramble ad nauseum about your favorite pro or major college teams, this is the place to let it rip.

Because TCU,Louisville, and certainly Notre Dame have a better on field product then we do. I'm not sure we bring a more attractive or watchable team then those they've added (Appy and GSU) or the one that jilted them, JMU

What if they use it twice in the same post? Actually, his content is decent, but he seriously needs someone to proofread his posts. The grammar and spelling are turrible.

If you are keeping score at home, he actually used "L O L" 3 times in the same paragraph.

And the FFA reference about the chickens was horrible: you're supposed to be waiting for them to hatch. If you eat them before they hatch, you are eating eggs, not chickens.

Research showed that the Sun Belt Conference brand essence centers around four key principles:

· AMBITIOUS - Our limitless ambition is captured by our essence, "Together We Rise," and fueled by a fearless passion for competition.

· AUTHENTIC - We are grounded in authenticity: real sports, real academics, real people, real fans, real hometowns.

· LOYAL - We unify the tight-knit communities of our member schools by fostering school pride and ownership over our shared success.

· ADVENTUROUS - Our adventurous spirit drives us forward in our endeavor to compete at the Bowl Championship Series and NCAA Division I stage.

· AUTHENTIC - We are grounded in authenticity: real sports, real academics, real people, real fans, real hometowns. Well, except for that one crazy evangelical school that has twice and half the athletic budget of most of our teams.

· LOYAL - We unify the tight-knit communities of our member schools by fostering school pride and ownership over our shared success. We accomplish this by Louisiana keeping other schools out.

· ADVENTUROUS - Our adventurous spirit drives us forward in our endeavor to compete at the Bowl Championship Series and NCAA Division I stage. You know, with schools with $9 million athletic budgets.

And we may just end up getting stoned. In the Biblical sense not the SMOOTH sense.

This is an article from May 15th, but it does give a time-frame of when we could expect to hear some results from the meetings...
Karl Benson, the Sun Belt’s commissioner, said that he expects any announcement involving Sun Belt membership would happen next Wednesday when the meetings wrap up.

So there you have it! Wednesday, May 22, 2013 is when we should know something. Everyone knows that Liberty only needs 48 hours to make a decision, so receiving a late invite and accepting before the June 1st deadline is not too far-fetched as most believe.

Personally, I'd say we turn them down if they offer at this point. It's obvious they don't really want us, and they're doing everything they can to avoid inviting us. I'd say we tell them to take a hike and focus on winning some playoff games this year.

I know, I know -- I'd love to see Liberty playing at the FBS level, but the way the Sun Belt has been acting toward Liberty, it reminds me WAY too much of high school, and Liberty is the last-ditch, "don't want to go to the dance alone, we can always ditch her when we get there after a dance or two" date. Screw that.
