back to the topic a little...

The official statement made by the president of the university admits that the statement at the center of the now confirmed sexual harasment was to clal into question the professionalism of her attire at one or more basketball games.

Further dirt: after a university investigation into the state of her program prior to the sexual harassment lawsuit, she was fired because of a litany of faults, including NCAA violations, verbal abuse of players, trainers, assistant coaches, and managers. She was also found to have illegally obtained prescription drugs from her athletes and used them herself. And, after she was put on leave for the duration of the university's investigation, she violated the terms of her leave by contacting the players. She also lied repeatedly in her interviews with university personnel during the investigation. The list goes on and on...

The point being, she wasn't going to coach anywhere anytime soon anyway, and certainly never for a sum total of $4.4+ million. The sexual harassment lawsuit (centered around the comment about the professionalism of her attire) was in retaliation to the president's public statement of all of these reasons for her termination.

And, on top of all this, in the article, it says she offered two weeks before it went to trial to settle for $950,000, and the university refused the deal!
