Yeah, I know what you're all going to think (and possibly say) when I put this, but Lady Gaga's "The Edge of Glory." Catchy beat, and she didn't rip off Madonna or Ace of Base this time.

Not gonna lie, Lady Gaga's music used to be pretty good.

Now it's just stupid. That and how everybody loves her political views

"I don't like green pencils. They're just stupid." And 20 million kids won't buy green pencils anymore.

(end rant)

You do realise people were drawing those comparisons well before this latest season of Modern Family, right?

I am seeing Coheed and Cambria next friday which I am pretty excited about
I haven't heard any new Coheed and Cambria since High School. When's the last time they put out a new CD?
they actually released a new album late last year I believe, but i'll be honest I haven't listened to it....

I went to that show for the simple fact it was a 10 year anniversary show and they were playing all old stuff...it was an amazing show with an acoustic set starting things off then a full 20 song set after that at a fantastic venue in St Pete called Jannus...

I saw Thursday do a show like that a couple months ago. It was the ten year anniversary of Full Collapse. It was awesome.

i've started to attempt to avoid alot of bands with explicit lyrics over the last year or so but Amity Affliction is pretty awesome. look at As i lay dying, all that remains, and Trivium as well.

I guess their celebrity status allows you to overlook the small fact that they are CLOSET STATISTS!!! Sleep well with your conscience, true American.

My favorite new album this year so far. Black Rebel Motorcycle Club. These guys have been solid since their debut, and this latest record takes elements from all their various past albums. Rock & Roll is not completely dead.

Let The Day Begin is a cover from one of the most under rated bands of the 80's and a vocalist who died too soon. I'm sure SLY knows who it is. It was also my alarm wake up music for years. May have to put it back.

The singer/bassist for BRMC is Michael Been's son. Been produced all of BRMC's records, and died backstage while they were on tour a few years ago, so it was a tribute to him.
