Lots of top quality basketball courts in LaHaye, just no seating.

We are all forgetting the LCA gym. I wonder how many it holds? Many of the BSC conference gyms are probably smaller than LCA's anyway.

I think it sucks that KK and the BSC powers that be even play conference games knowing students are gone. It takes away any home court advantage whatsoever. Just don't schedule any conference games between December 15 and January 7, how fricking hard is that?

That's much easier said than done. The coaches don't like playing those December conference games to begin with, but then they would have to play more if you don't have any conference games in the first week of January (or play three conference games a week for a couple of weeks later in the year). And some schools in the league don't come back until the middle of January. There's no way to avoid games during winter break. Unless you have an Ivy League 14-game schedule, it's hard for any league to avoid them.

Out of 32 conferences, only 9 avoided having conference games scheduled between Dec 15-Jan 7 last season...

Great West - only play 12 games
Patriot - only play 14 games
Ivy - only play 14 games
Southland - only play 16 games. Conference tourney starts a week later than the Big South's
MAC - only play 16 games. Conference tourney starts a week later than the Big South's
MEAC - only play 16 games. Conference tourney starts a week later than the Big South's
SEC - only play 16 games. Conference tourney starts a week later than the Big South's
ACC - only play 16 games. Conference tourney starts a week later than the Big South's
Big XII - only play 16 games. Conference tourney starts a week later than the Big South's

So the only leagues that managed to avoid games in that window either had at least 4 fewer conference games than the Big South, or have an extra week to work with due to when their conference tournament is scheduled. So yes, it is tough to avoid playing games during winter break.

LOL, how about the court at the indoor track in North????? If you drive for a layup, you get caught in the trampoline nets surrounding the court.

I think they're trying to nail down a few last-minute things, and the site of the CSU game is probably one of them. The schedule is in essence complete, but they don't want to release it and have something change on it.

read that William and Mary could be Liberty's 2k opponent. (they are in it as well) or they could be coming down as an opponent when Liberty is hosting the 3 game series.

either way supposedly it's a CAA, Big south, and SOCON team coming down when Liberty is hosting as a neutral.

also Liberty is playing Randolph college as one of their non d1 schools.

I really wish they would release what they have on line and just say it is subject to change. I'm going to be in the country from mid December through early January, and I definately want to take in a couple of games. I need to start making travel plans pretty soon.

If you want me to be honest... I don't really care. Many tourneys, you don't know who you're going to play, let alone the day after you play your 1st game.

I mean, I realize with basketball, you have in-season tournaments. But in football, I could go online and find West Virginia's 2014 football schedule. It's out there. It's subject to change, but it's out there.

Of course, I know scheduling can be difficult. But it's only about 2 months from the start of the season.

They should just play the CSU-Liberty game on the outdoor court by David's Place. It holds more people than the CSU SuperDome anyway.

I think they tore that court down. They can always play it on my basketball hoop on the cul-de-sac I live on. Make and take - game to 11, win by 2!!!!

It's amazing to me the Coaches vs. Cancer event hasn't finalized (or announced) the tourney schedule yet. It's only two months away...I wonder what the hold-up is.
