Have you priced admission cost? That's something I haven't looked into yet.

Ticket sales projection will probably be in the selection process. I think LU has somewhat of an advantage.

When I went to a bowl game in Orlando about 4 years ago, face value of ticket was 80.00 if my memory is correct.

ROFLMAO.
Now, Montana who missed last year and was eligible is just a solid running team. If anything helps us it is the potential for explosive plays over schools like Montana.
:dontgetit Montana is FCS.
Apologies. I meant Wyoming.
Those States all look alike :D

What makes you say that? Liberty traveled well for an FCS program but I haven't seen a huge uptick in support on the road so I'm not sure Liberty will move the needle in terms of support.

I paid 30.00 for one in parking lot at stadium.

Regardless of what bowl we get, everyone needs to buy tickets through LU ticket office. It's important that we sell our allotment. This will help us for future bowl considerations.

From what I’ve seen, $20-$80.

The Sporting News also has Liberty in the Birmingham Bowl facing Marshall. This is the fifth straight week this publication has projected Liberty into the Birmingham Bowl.
I know it's just a prediction but...wow! :jawdropper
I guess I'd have to find me a green-on-back and red-on-front shirt to wear. Man divided

One way ticket sales could possibility affect the selection process is if LU guaranteed a certain amount of ticket sale.

If need be, I am confident that LU will guarantee x number of ticket sales. But we need to build a reputation for strong bowl game sales from the beginning.

Yes, but I'd rather play a bigger name team. But Cure Bowl is my favorite landing spot.

Florida weather is a bonus.

Media would love HF showing up to play Ark State.

I think you're correct about the Cure Bowl and probably Arky State too. Birmingham is probably 2nd most likely, IMO. But I'm praying for the Belk Bowl.

I know the Belk Bowl has been mentioned several times, but their website says it will be a matchup of ACC and SEC teams.

That would only happen if there are not enough ACC or SEC teams based on teams slipping into NY6 bowls.

I have already lined up sofas in Tuscon and Orlando and feel good about the same in Nashville. Obviously it is a commute for me in Big D. That leaves me most exposed to ponying up for hotel in Birmingham. I wouldn't complain about any of the options. Although I admit that I am pulling for Arizona. My LU roommate runs a TV station over there.

From what I've read, the SEC & ACC don't have enough bowl eligible teams & then throw in the playoffs & NY6 Bowls. I believe that was supported by the Cure Bowl's ED's interview on the podcast, where he gave me the impression that it was a strong possibility we'd be selected for the Cure. But that's just my thoughts and impressions. I could be way off base.

I believe there is some deal, where bowls can "trade teams", to create more favorable match ups, or logistical considerations.

I have heard "sources" from way down South say, Liberty is #1 on Cure Bowl's list.
