Trying to get play by play on this site is like listening to the Flames radio broadcasts back in the day. Great commentary and/or play by play, but you would have no idea what the score was, which team was winning, which inning/quarter/half it was.

Coastal's board is all doom and gloom about this game...however, memories of UNCA in the championship game a couple years ago still haunt the back of my mind.

Evans up right around 100 pitches.

Stokes will go game 2. Light and Wilson fully available. Page might be available for an inning or two.

If Evans can give us a few more innings then we should be in as good of shape pitchingwise for Gme #2 as we possibly could be under the circumstances.

According to Coastal's board, their pitcher McCully is on a short lease for the 2nd game. They also appear to not have good feelings about their bullpen.

Since losing to Radford 15-4 to open the tournament, and through their half of the 7th in this first game, LU has outscored their opponents 46-7.
