they need a 40+ night from james next week.
Haslem made numerous jumpers in Game 3 and only two of his made FGs in the series have been at the rim.

People troll you all the time for the hell of it
For reference, I was out around town from 2:30 to 4:30. Posting on, or reading, Flamefans is in all likelihood at the bottom of my priority list when driving, grocery shopping, or while enjoying a beefy crunch burrito (highly recommended if you have not tried it and I don't even like "Mexican" food) and a baja mountain dew.

Difference is I don't come on a board and whine and moan like a little girl who got called a bad name by the neighborhood bully when someone trolls me though. I like it when I get trolled, keeps things entertaining.

Since when did I say I didn't care?

YAWN.... haslem historicallly can get hot occasionally from about 15-16 ft but its rare. most of the time he's got a wide open shot too. but the dude this year shot like 30% from anywhere beyond the rim and misses more layups than anyone else i've seen in a while. beside his decent game in game 3, his other 3 games have been terrible...he's missed at the rim more times than he's scored and he's shooting 40% beyond.

get out your calculator and spreadsheets..

Maybe the thing about missing a lot of layups is true, but not a single one of those other statements can be backed with any facts.

From 16 feet to to inside the three point arc, Haslem shot 43.6% this season. He made 90% of his dunks and 67% of his layups. And the left short corner where he made, I believe, three jumpers in Game 3? That's his second est spot for the season, next to the obvious shots at the rim.

During the regular season, on two-point sshots from at least 15 feet with players who took at least 50 qualifying shots, Haslem ranked 30th in the NBA in FG% on those shots. Only 24 players shot over 42% from that range, only 11 over 45%.

And let's just look at his playoff data, obviously a small data set though. 8-8 dunks, 1-1 hook shots, 18-34 jumpers, 9-16 layups, 2-3 tip shots. 20-28 shots at rim, 2-2 from 3 to less than 10 feet, 4-9 from 10 to less than 16 feet, 12-23 from 16 to less than 3 range. And the left short corner that I identified before? Also his hot spot.

lol. 30% from 3-15ft and under 40% from 16-23.. yeah he's AHSUM MY BAD.... nevermind almost every shot he takes is a wide open look and he doesn't create his own shot at all. those numbers rank him low on the totem pole of PF's who play more than 20 minutes a game. keep trying to make him out to be anything but a offensive liability.

Hoopdata's own data doesn't even add up to any logical since. They list him with 258 field goal attempts. When you add up the field goal attempts breakdown by range, it only adds up to 250 field goal attempts. It lists him with 132 made field goals, add up the range breakdown and it's 130. Apparently he attempted eight shots that weren't located anywhere on the basketball court! Meanwhile, the NBA officially lists him as being 129-251, Hoopdata lists him as 132-258. Hoopdata has made up seven shots Haslem never attempted!

But hey, if you want to roll with invalid data, then that's cool with me.

now you guys should argue about what makes your data more valid. It sounds thrilling

My opinion of LeBron has gone way up compared to last season. I really think he is living up to his talents. I'm just not sure if the Heat know how to use it. He's their best shooter, best post player, and best passer. So if yu play him at point who posts up? If you post him low, who facilitates the offense. If he's jacking 3's who is rebounding ? He and Wade have great chemistry but Wade has 1 or 2 years left of being highly effective.
Having said that, if I was starting an NBA team he still wouldn't be my #1 pick. And since my wife agrees and would pick the same person I would, I can take the 'Heat'!

he gets that baseline jumper dropping occasionlly like he did tonight. wide open he should make them. but a game here or there...he'll go 1 for 7 in the next few games and then what? i'm supposed to come back and say told you so? such a joke.

I think it was Reggie last night who said LeBron looks like he did in Cleveland! But in a good way. He did take over in the 3rd when things were slipping away from the Heat. Which of course led to Stephenson going crazy and the Pacers lose. I like where Indy is at as an organization. Substitute Danny Granger for Stephenson and they win this series. Add a solid ball handler and they've got a legit shot, if not this year, then next.

Lebron even said in a post game interview that he "went back to his Cleveland days" in the 3rd quarter. Indiana is one shooter, probably Danny Granger, away from actually taking this series from Miami.

Lebron is going to have the continue to carry the Heat for them to be successful, the roll players have played terribly over all. Of course a lot of that is because of Indy's defense

Should have been tossed in Game 5. Plus the little punk how chucked David West.

Great offensive foul call on LeBron, but can't believe they called it. Glad to see Fizdale get T'd for the Heat. He annoys me
