It is beyond sickening in the Charlotte media down here. Whenever Stephen or Seth take a dump, it is front page news.

jcmanson wrote:If he stayed at LU all 4 years, we'd be 1 of 32 teams playing this weekendWow. From 14-18 to a third round team. That's quite a difference. He made the right choice. Get over it.

Flamesfan4ever wrote:Yeah,Wow I understand the Curry bashing from your perspective even though I don't agree with it. But if you think the backcourt of Lehigh is a scrub backcourt you are sadly mistaken. I thought going into that game that CJ McCullom would be the best player on the floor in the Duke game. That was before he gave them 30. He is on the NBA watch list. It doesn't matter what school you play for these days. If you are NBA material they will find you. Don't be surprised to see him get drafted in the second round. If that is a scrub, then there are a LOT of scrubs on a lot of very good teams/programs.
He was on national TV getting owned by sum scrubs from Lehigh....Let's see....if you cant guard mediocre players from a mid-major...exactly how are going to guard NBA elites?
I think he would have prefered NOT being on TV tonight !

As for if Curry made the right decision, to me it was a no brainer. Go play for Coach K and have a chance to win a National Championship or stay at Liberty. I am a Liberty guy through and through but I understand the decision. Of course I wanted him to stay and probably had more to gain by him staying than anyone on this board since I would have been one of the people calling most of his games on TV and getting exposure for myself. You don't know how you would react in that situation until it is presented to you.

Bigsouthking wrote:McCollum from Lehigh showed whose a better guard....Well Miles graduates, but likely won't be drafted according to DraftExpress and ESPN. Mason is only projected to be drafted 23rd by DraftExpress. He is 28th on Chad Ford's Big Board on ESPN. Unless Mason just craps the bed, he stands to gain a lot more by staying one more year.
1 more season of hearing about Curry thank goodness!!!!!
Duke next year, no Rivers, no Mason or Miles. (NBA I'm sure they will leave)
So next year Curry will have the ball to himself --- so we will see..
And by the way at Duke your measured by NCAA tournament success, not regular season wins, and so far it hasn't been that successful while Curry has been in the uniform!
