While those of us who have been critical of him had no way of knowing, Armon having a medical problem of this nature would certainly explain a lot.

Remember the discussion of privacy laws when the rumors were circulating about Alex's knee? There is no way RMc would be giving out information of this nature unless it were accurate and Armon had authorized it.

As far as troyywr's comments are concerned, I see absolutely no benefit to this being announced now as far as opening up a scholarship is concerned. We all know that we are currently over our limit when you add new recruits to scholarship players with eligibility remaining, so someone will be out. It is no secret, and there is absolutely nothing unethical about a coach deciding not to renew a scholarship for any reason. Those decisions may in fact have already been made, but they are not likely to be anounced til the season is over.

WOW...a complete LIE was issued by someone about Armon's situation...Dont sugar coat it...its a LIE...Armon is NOT INJURIED..point blank..if I was a reporter I would ask Coach McKay what Armons injury is...and why is Armon playing in the Lahaye Center if he is "injuried"...They LIED and didnt let this young man at least finish his season...thats CLASSLESS..regardless if he is performing up to LU BASKETBALL STANDARDS you dont cut a kid in the middle of the season ...then say oh its a medical condition...Richie McKay is CLEANING HOUSE...point blank...and I pray that Armon finds somewhere to play ASAP..thats just disrespectful for them to lie about the situtation...the should have said ...we cut Armon Jones mid-season after all of his hard work and dedication because we werent happy with his performance on the court even though he is young we arent investing in coaching this young man and have decieded to throw him under the train..thanks

HA...yeah I was being sarcastic...it's like these local players and their parents that get mad b/c LU doesnt give them a shot and then they bad mouth the school and program b/c they feel they "have to look all over the country when there is good talent here" yet when you ask what other schools have offered them a scholly or even a letter of interest they can not come up with anything every time

Suggesting that the announcement to the press of Armon's medical condition is a fabrication goes waaaaaaayy beyond speculation. The penalties for disseminating medical information which is untrue and/or unauthorized involve 6 figure fines and/or federal prison. You can bet the house he has a real (medical) heart problem!
