What a terrific addition to our wbb staff. Obviously Alexis had made a connection with the University and the community to make the change to what is in many ways a different sport in order to stay here.

Just so I'm not misunderstood, yes, it is still basketball, and most of the rules and fundamental skills are the same, but it is a whole new set of contacts for recruiting and for communication within the coaching community, and a whole new set of issues to adjust to in dealing with players who are of the opposite sex (moreso off the court than on.)
