How good is Appy State?

Here is a qustion for you guys that are more divulged in the world of 1-AA; When a team like Appalachian State pulls off what they did, is that something fans of other 1-AA schools take pride in? What does it do for the mentality of other 1-AA programs and their fans?

I actually didn't want them to win. I'm happy they showed that a AA team can play with the big boys, but if UM had hit that FG, the point would have still been made and App fans wouldn't be obnoxious even more so to the Nth degree.

The App fans aren't the ones on AGS being obnoxious. It's the fans of every other team kissing their butts and starting 7 billion threads.
